Nigel has been running Rushall Organics for 25 years and has guided the farm through many changes, most notably completing its conversion to a fully organic, 5,000-acre farm, and installing an ultra-high-tech new grain store and drying system. A keen advocate of modern technology in the farming industry, Nigel has closely followed the latest advances in tractors, combine harvesters, drills, ploughs and cultivators.
In his free time Nigel enjoys wood-working, and many of his creations can be seen around the farm office, and his home at France Farm. Nigel has also taken up the role of head grounds man of the local cricket side, which is evident by the fact that the pitch is always immaculate!
Since Joe joined the farm in 2012, he has overseen the introduction of the Glamping, Fishing and Shooting enterprises on the farm. A keen advocate of organic farming, Joe sees a bright future for the industry. And he will continue to develop Rushall Organics to be a flagship for the organic sector.
In Joe’s free time he is either watching sport or playing sport. A season-ticket member at Bath Rugby and playing member of no less than three cricket teams, Joe spends most of the summer evenings on a cricket pitch somewhere in Wiltshire – that’s when he’s not on the combine harvester of course!
